Incheon International Airport, the main gateway into South Korea, is putting all efforts to ramp up its quarantine measures amid the COVID-19 outbreak. All travelers at the airport must pass the three stages of the fever inspection to board the plane. The system is designed to prevent the cluster infection inside the aircraft by only allowing healthy passengers to get on board in the first place. The airport is also putting extra effort to sterilize objects and places that have been contacted by passengers using rubbing alcohol. The move is aimed at preventing import cases. We visit the airport to get a better scope of its meticulous quarantine systems.
